Pool Service Technician
Pool Service Technicians, or service techs, are responsible for providing cleaning and general maintenance (including water chemistry adjustments) for Triangle Area swimming pools. Pool Service Techs report directly to Regional Directors, and ensure the entire aquatic facility meets code and is ready for members day in and day out. Pool Manager / Assistant Manager
Minimum Age: | 18 | |
Experience: | Multiple years as Lifeguard, with at least two years in responsible leadership position. | |
Certifications: | Lifeguard, First Aid, CPO strongly preferred. | |
Job Duties: | Manage pool facility, schedule lifeguards, head lifeguards, and/or attendants. Perform supervisory tasks as well as lifeguard while on duty. Responsible for identifying issues and quickly resolving or reporting them to management. | |
Shifts: | Varied shifts; including holidays, weekends and evenings up to 40 hr/wk. | |
Compensation: | $17 - $22 / hr and is commensurate with experience |
Lifeguard
Minimum Age: | 15 | |
Experience: | One season of lifeguard experience, proven leadership. | |
Certifications: | American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR for Professional Rescuer, First Aid. | |
Skill Set: | Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal communication. | |
Job Duties: | Perform lifeguard duties as well as supervise daily pool operations while on duty. Must follow and enforce all pool policies and rules at all times. Must be able to verbally communicate with both public and staff effectively. | |

Pool Attendant
Pool attendant positions are available at select pools. This position does not require that the successful applicant become lifeguard certified. The duties of a pool attendant include supervising daily operations, monitoring gate attendance, ensuring that a safe and clean environment is provided to all pool members, etc.
Compensation ranges from $13 - $15 / hr
